Who We Are

Who We Are

Who we are:
Titans Youth Lacrosse is a youth sports organization for families in the Attleboro and Norton area. The Titans are in the South Central division of the Mass Youth Lacrosse (MYL).  All players are members of MYL and all coaches are certified through MYL along with the PCA (Positive Coaching Alliance).

Philosophy:
The Titans program strives to provide an environment that supports and practices positive coaching philosophies so that all participants have a rewarding experience.  Titans Youth Lacrosse coaches, all of whom are volunteers, focus on player skills and game fundamentals. They work diligently during the season, and the off-season, to develop each student-athlete to the best of their potential.  MYL is a non-competitive League, with no standings and no playoffs. The Titans strive to ensure that ALL players get the guidance necessary to play the sport at a high level while maintaining the integrity of MYL and its guidelines.

Note: The number of teams and team size for each season may be restricted, so register early if you want to play. In order to coordinate team registrations and scheduling with the MYL, Titans registrations must be completed by the end of December of the previous year.

Titans Team breakdowns are grade based and are as follows

Little Laxers: Grades PreK - 2nd, no equipment needed and no games scheduled

  U9 - Grades 1/2
U11 - Grades 3/4
U13 - Grades 5/6
U15 - Grades 7/8

General Season Schedule
January - March: Skills Training – Indoor Gym practices held at either the Bartek Rec Center (81 Pines Street, Attleboro), Dayspring Academy (1052 Newport Avenue, Attleboro) or Forekicks in Taunton.

April – June: Outdoor practices and Games begin. Typically each team has practice once or twice during the week, once on Saturday and Games on Sunday. Practices are typically at Horton Field in Attleboro (Kendall Ave Attleboro). U13-U15 boys teams may also schedule mid-week games throughout the season.

Our games are played, essentially, with groups from around the area, like Foxboro, Franklin, North Attleboro, etc. Our practices and home games are played at Horton Field on Kendall Ave in Attleboro, we do travel to the surrounding towns for away games.

Early June – End of season Mass Youth Lacrosse Jamboree (schedule usually doesn’t come out until end of May). The Jamboree takes place at Ft. Devens, and features three time-shortened games against teams across the state that we would not typically play in our region.

Fall Ball - Generally a 6 week program that focuses on the fundamentals skills of the game.  Sessions are developed for skills and drills, conditioning and interleague based games and scrimmages.
